Patrón Perfectionists Cocktail Competition 2019!

Returning for the fourth year with even broader global reach, the Patrón Perfectionists Cocktail Competition is a unique challenge for mixologists and bartenders to demonstrate their skill, expertise, respect for craftmanship, attention to detail and unwavering commitment to perfection and to see these values brought to life through their cocktail creation and presentation.

With just under four weeks until entries to the competition close, Patrón Tequila is encouraging Australian and New Zealand bartenders to share their own Patrón cocktail recipe online at www.patronperfectionists.com/ to enter the world’s premier tequila cocktail competition.

Judged on the Patrón Tequila cocktail’s appearance, originality, service and flavour, the successful applicants will shake it out at their respective regional heats in New South Wales and South Australia this September. The six victors will then compete at the Australian and New Zealand Final in Melbourne on October 15th.

Entering the competition will provide bartenders the opportunity to join a community of the best bartenders and mixologists in the world, take their career to the next level and potentially win a trip to Hacienda Patrón in Mexico in 2020 to compete in the Global Patrón Perfectionists Competition in front of a panel of distinguished judges.

2018 National Winner, Abby Wegener comments on her experience: “Representing Australia at the Patrón Perfectionists Global Final was truly an honour, not only was I able to demonstrate my skills in front of a panel of expert judges, I met 19 finalists from all around the world who inspired me with their passion for mixology and knowledge of tequila.
