JOB DESCRIPTION

Award winning White + Wong's venues in Auckland are seeking an energetic and positive manager to join our ever-growing group with amazing people!

We are seeking exceptional individuals to join our award-winning White + Wong’s restaurants located in the heart of Auckland Viaduct and at our Newmarket Rooftop. We are looking for experienced candidates with exceptional customer service skills for full-time Assistant Restaurant Manager and Duty Manager roles.

A successful applicant will have exceptional customer service skills, along with positive attitude and strong service knowledge.

Are you someone that fits this brief?

  • Must have full NZ working rights
  • You have worked for a similar premium high-volume restaurant at supervisory level for at least 2 years
  • You have a current Manager’s Certificate or LCQ
  • You have passion for providing exceptional guest service
  • You are passionate about serving simply the best food and wine
  • You love to work within a great team environment and enjoy fast paced service
  • You get a buzz from working hard and getting great results
  • You understand how a restaurant works, are familiar with online reservations systems
  • You would like to build on a successful career in the hospitality industry

Achieve top line sales

Ensure good roster management

Assist in recruitment Focus on staff development and training

Ensure the establishment is clean and tidy at all times

Ensure maintenance of equipment, facility, and grounds

Ensure Health and Safety is met at all levels

Manage and conform with regulatory licensing requirements
