About the role and who we are looking for:            

We are looking for enthusiastic Permanent Part-time Cleaning Assistant to work on weekends at one of our senior living sites in Algies Bay near Warkworth, 1-hour from North Auckland. Hours of work are 09:00 - 15:00 on Saturday and Sunday.

The great things you'll do: 

In this position, you will be responsible for cleaning all bathrooms and toilets, rooms and offices, vacuuming and polishing floors, emptying rubbish, maintaining and storing cleaning equipment and chemicals, and any other general cleaning duties as required. You will also need to manage cleaning duties in a timely manner and to adhere to health, safety and security procedures.

Ideal skills and experience you will have:

If you're our ideal candidate you will be friendly, and helpful, with a smiling outgoing personality and "can do" attitude. You will have a proven ability to follow instructions and schedules, along with exceptionally high cleaning standards.

Excellent personal presentation is a must. Ideally you will have previous cleaning experience in an aged care environment, in addition with having own transport as you will have to work under short notice, but most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for customer service and quality.

To be considered for this position you: 

  • will be a New Zealand citizen or resident or be in position of a valid NZ work visa.
  • will need to Pass a Pre-employment Background Check.
  • will need to provide evidence of your Covid-19 vaccination status.
