The Venue

At Amano we are passionate about delivering rustic, Italian-inspired fare with a focus on provenance. Our backbone is seasonal, sustainable and local produce from New Zealand growers and farmers. Simply prepared, humbly served food connected to its origin served in a relaxed space that lets you enjoy on your terms. Find us on the dazzling Waitemata Harbor. The space spans Britomart’s historic Altrans and Quay buildings. Our bakery and restaurant are now part of the rich history of this beautiful site.

The Opportunity 

We are searching for detail oriented waiters, who know what it means to make sure every guest experience is exceptional. Ideally you will have experience as a waiter or bartender  in a comparable venue, a good knowledge of food and beverage would be a huge advantage, the ability to communicate and up-sell food and beverage offerings, a passion for hospitality and the ability to work nights, weekends and public holidays is essential. 

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Delivering exceptional dining experiences to all of our guests 
• Offering recommendations, taking food and beverage orders, and serving
• Ensure all product offerings and service are of exceptional quality 
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of of food and beverage offerings
• Working cohesively with both front of house and back of house and ensuring communication is open
• Being an ambassador for your venue and for Savor.
