ABOUT MILKY LANE:

The artistic leanings continue with a subway car installation taking centre stage – with familiar face or two not far away.

Along with that, our offerings also include non-stop beats from the best Rap and RnB numbers to all the classics throughout the restaurant. So, don’t be surprised if you hear one of your favourite numbers while sipping on a classic cocktail. 

ABOUT YOU & THE ROLE

We are looking to hire an experienced ASSITANT MANAGER to guide our existing team of hopso legends to reach their full potential. Our ideal candidate will be a career hospitality employee with their eyes above the horizon, thinking of the big picture as our company expands. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to grow into the VENUE MANAGER role if they show excellence in job performance over the coming 6 months. A passion for epic service, R&B, garnering customer rapport and continuing to foster a healthy work environment will be key for role success. A manager who has had experience with both FOH and basic BOH is highly desired, as this role requires supervision of both sides of our epic team.

Our team currently consists of 24 guns, so 2 years minimum experience in a supervisor/managerial role is key.

Venue responsibilities include: 

• Maintaining Daily Takings records, investigating any discrepancies and working with the team to mitigate repeated mistakes
• Track accurately the Cost of Goods Sold through the Venue
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding the handling of cash, property, products and equipment
• Communicating fiscal reports to the Directors & working closely with management to meet revenue objectives
• Implement appropriate strategies to resolve adverse trends and improve sales
• Maintaining up to date Menus reflecting current offerings
• Audit inventory levels to ensure product availability, and order products as necessary
• Maintain safe working conditions, inclusive of a bully/clique free environment
