The Woodstock is launching September – and we’re growing our crew for this exciting new chapter.
  
Formerly the Carousel Inn, our reimagined venue will be a fresh hub for good times in Western Sydney. With a brand new kitchen fit-out, we’re looking for a Senior Sous who is ready to lead, inspire and create with us!

Our spaces are designed to unite everyone. At the heart of it all will be a warm, family-friendly bistro, built around a food philosophy of generosity, flavour and flexibility. Mediterranean-inspired pub classics will headline the menu, with a strong focus on woodfired pizzas, grilled meats and large-format dishes designed for sharing.

The Role  

We’re on the lookout for a talented and driven Senior Sous Chef to join the team at the newly relaunched venue – The Woodstock!  

This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role within a vibrant, high-volume venue featuring a brand-new open kitchen, a large events space and more.

Working closely with the Executive Chef and managing a team of 20 chefs, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional food, maintaining high standards across all areas of service, and creating a standout guest experience.

From overseeing day-to-day operations and supporting multiple sections, to rostering, ordering, mentoring junior chefs, and contributing to creative menu development, you’ll bring energy, precision, and passion to every shift.

Ideally, you’ll have experience in some of Western Sydney’s top pubs or high-profile kitchens and be confident in leading large brigades in a fast paced environment.  

This role is perfect for a strong Sous Chef ready to take the next step in their career!
