JOB DESCRIPTION

Long Beach Tavern is a beloved coastal dining destination in Waikanae beach serving pizzas and a creative menu using fresh local ingredients.

Our talented and dedicated gardeners supply us with fresh produce daily and we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional food and experiences for our community.


We’re seeking an experienced, passionate chef who along with colleagues and the head chef will help oversee menu development, kitchen operations, and maintain the high standards we’re proud of.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team, as well as experience in a high-volume pizza establishment are strong requirements for this role. Creativity and passion for modern, seasonal cuisine with a focus on New Zealand flavours is a bonus.


Nights and weekend work required, closed on Public Holidays.
 

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.
