JOB DESCRIPTION

Coast Beach Bar & Kitchen in Surfers Paradise are looking for reliable, motivated and experienced section waiters to join our team.

Our 300 seated rooftop Beach Bar and Kitchen Restaurant is located at Oceans by Meriton and features an extensive land & sea menu, prepared using the ancient cooking methods of charcoal and fire from our Josper oven. 

Our locally sourced menu features an array of locally sourced artisan produce, in house dry aging and will be accompanied by a 140 wine collection. Coast Beach Bar & Kitchen is the perfect place to gather, share and enjoy.

With a relaxed and vacation like atmosphere, our business is growing and getting busier by the day. As a result, ample opportunities have become available for hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering the highest levels of service in a relaxed, modern and personalised manner.

We are passionate about the individuals who join our team and provide detailed training to set all members of our team up to be successful in their roles.

The ideal team member at Coast Beach Bar & Kitchen will have:

  • An enthusiastic nature about themselves and joining our team
  • Have previous experience within a high quality, fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Have previous experience in customer service but be open to adapting to providing the kind of unique service that can only be delivered at our venue
  • Be passionate about the hospitality industry and putting the guests at the heart of everything you do
  • Have current Queensland RSA certificate or be willing to obtain one

REQUIREMENTS

About you:

  • Experience as a section waiter in a premium restaurant
  • Passion for food and wine
  • Strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude
  • Immaculate presentation and exceptional communication
  • Show the ability to work under pressure
  • Able and willing to work a rotating roster including weekends
  • Excellent attention to detail
