The opportunity:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Retail Supervisor to join our team at Massey University in Albany to supervise the performance of the Retail team members. The Supervisor must ensure that all tasks associated with food, retail and general customer service are performed with due regard for all Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations as required. Hours of work are Full Time permanent.

Your responsibilities:

In this position you will

  • Oversee retail employees during shift
  • Assist with presenting food
  • Prepare and serve barista coffee
  • Provide food and beverage service
  • Operate a cash register
  • Maintain clean & tidy front/back of house and others
  • Organizing caterings
  • Ideally the candidate will hold a manager certificate as we are a on license premises, we will offer training if the candidate does not have one.

REQUIREMENTS

About you:

If you're our ideal candidate;

  • You will be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
  • You will have at least 2 years' experience working in a similar supervisory role, be articulate and highly organised, and able to juggle multiple demands.
  • You will also have proven customer service and administration skills.
  • Ideally you will hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 and 168), or be happy to be train for one.
