We are on the hunt for an Assitant Manager/Sommelier to join our team at Harbouside Ocean Bar Grill.

As part of the Senior team be one of the faces of our premium ‘fun dining’ seafood restaurant Harbourside and as such take responsibility for full day to day operations to ensure this business exceeds Group expectations.

A major focus is required on building strong rapport with key centre’s of influence and group ‘friends’ to ensure we build patronage of this business to achieve budgeted levels of growth and profitability. Leave no stone unturned in our quest for excellence and take the lead in ensuring Harbourside in Auckland is the talk of the town and highly regarded by all.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Planning and organising special events
  • Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
  • Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
  • Assist team during trading to run meals and clearing tables
  • Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
  • Selecting, training and supervising staff
  • Taking reservations, greeting guests and assisting in taking orders
  • Answer emails and all other customer queries


Interview required
