About the Role

Ideally located in the heart of Christchurch Central, Fable Christchurch Hotel is looking for an Night Porter/Night Auditor to assist with our Night Guest Services and Housekeeping operation.

You will be responsible for assisting late check-in guests, after hour in room dining orders, and other housekeeping tasks for the night shift. 

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure an efficient and professional reception experience for guests during night shifts
• Assist with reception duties, including answering phone calls
• Perform and assist Night Audit operations
• General public area cleaning and more specific Body Corporate cleaning including carpark and stairwells
• Assist with late in room dining order delivery. 
• Assist with valet parking operations
• Handle guest complaints efficiently & effectively
• Ensure that the Night Manager on duty is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and, or, other departments
• Demonstrate and maintain high level of customer service
• Follow company brand standards
   

• The ability to work night shifts, generally from 11pm to 7.30am
• First Aid Training Certificate is advantageous 
• A positive, reliable, charismatic and can-do attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
• Calm, efficient, and excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Current eligibility to work in New Zealand
• NZ Full Driving License preferred
