The Marketing Manager Position:

We are looking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to join our team at The Woollahra Hotel, Bistro Moncur and Moncur Cellars. 

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar multi facet hospitality venue with a portfolio of brands each with their own USP, voice and values whilst collectively complements the overall business and brand story.

They will be technically strong as a marketer with experience across the whole marketing mix and cycle, from concept curation to planning and strategy through to execution. The role will also cover digital & social media management, agency management, events, promotions, collaborations, partnerships and community engagement. 

This role also encompasses some elements of business development as we aim to position ourselves as a cornerstone hospitality venue for the community to enjoy. Woollahra village has a bustling community and there is lots of opportunity to work with businesses and key stakeholders to enhance our offering and make the venue truly part of the community.

Internal and external stakeholder management is also key to the success of this role. Working alongside our GM, Bistro Moncur Restaurant Manager, Moncur Cellars and in-house Events Manager, the candidate will require a natural ability to communicate and endorse our three businesses as we embark on growing our client base and to realise new opportunities through creative events and various initiatives. 

We are seeking a genuine and considerate personality with passion for hospitality and a true desire for customer excellence. A positive attitude along with the ability to work autonomously, be able recognise opportunities and deliver on each are all keys to success for this position.

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

The Role:

  • Formulation and execution of the yearly marketing plan, presented and updated on a rolling quarterly basis to the management team.
  • Frontline digital communication management for the business via EDM’s, Social Channels and direct enquiries. Direct to customer relationships and exemplary management of key stakeholders and clientele are imperative to the success.
  • Effective management of external marketing support providers; agency and creatives as required.
  • Creative planning with department leaders to create unique experiences for our customers and to also enhance visibility of all our brands.
  • Brand activations working alongside our key partners and stakeholders.

About you:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Warm and outgoing personality .
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a similar multi-faceted business.
  • A thorough understanding of hospitality trends and genuine passion for the industry
  • ‘Can-do’ attitude with an ability to think outside the square, problem solve and innovate
  • Effective time management and highly organised
  • Knowledge of Social Media management tools and CRM software
