About the role

Situated just walking distance away from Britomart and Commercial Bay, Fort Street Hostel is looking for a Housekeeping Attendant who is responsible for delivering exceptional housekeeping duties in the hostel. 

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure that guest rooms are serviced and ready for arrivals. 
• Ensure that Housekeeping trolley and service areas are kept clean and tidy at all times
• Ensure that the Duty Manager is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and, or, other departments
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times
• Follow company brand standards

Requirements and Skills:

• Previous experience in hospitality, hotel guest services/housekeeping preferred
• A positive, reliable, and can-do attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
• Calm, efficient, and excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Current eligibility to work in New Zealand
