REQUIREMENTS

The Position:

This is a rare opportunity to join the team at the helm of the kitchen. Work alongside our Executive Chef developing menus and most importantly developing our people. 

This is a senior leadership position and you will be acting as the role model to a large brigade of aspiring chefs. Engaging with staff to build a positive kitchen culture is by far the biggest responsibility of this role.

This is a high volume and fast paced kitchen requiring exceptional organisational skills to surprise and delight each of our guests. 

The Candidate:

  • Demonstrates a positive and customer centric attitude
  • A natural leader displaying  a hands on approach and dealing with problems by offering practical solutions in a timely manner
  • Demonstrates ability to train, mentor, coach and develop high performing teams through  outstanding communication and a willingness to hold people accountable
  • Strong business acumen with proven record of achieving KPI’s
    Your culinary expertise will inspire the team when adapted to the business model.
  • Demonstrate a well-rounded experience across all-day dining menus, high volume function and events.
  • Experience with online rostering and kitchen software would be a competitive advantage
