About the role

CPG Hotels is the largest privately-owned hotel company in New Zealand. Willis Wellington Hotel is one of the many hotels and resorts in CPG Hotels' large portfolio. 

Located centrally and a very short walk from the CBD, Willis Wellington Hotel has a busy restaurant that requires a Food & Beverage Attendant to deliver exceptional Breakfast services! You will be joining a vibrant, close-knit team in a friendly and fun environment. 

Ideally suited to those who wish to have afternoons and evenings off.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet & greet our breakfast guests, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences.
  • Ensure the breakfast buffet, in coordination with the kitchen, is always well stocked.
  • Ensure restaurant tables are reset when appropriate.
  • Set up the restaurant to welcome morning guests 
  • Assist the kitchen when necessary.
  • Liaise with kitchen and other departments on any special requests.
  • Adhere to the Hotel's operational procedures

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Food & Beverage Attendant
Waitstaff

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Skills & Requirements:

  • Previous experience in hospitality is a plus
  • The ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Ability to communicate proactively and positively
  • Ability to start 6.00am shifts early in the morning
  • Flexible to work rostered shifts including weekends and public holidays.
  • 100% punctuality and attendance. 
  • New Zealand Citizenship, permanent residency or a current valid work visa
