Who are we?

Workshop is a popular hospitality venue in Kelston and is part of West Auckland Trust Services collectively known at The Trusts.  There are 22 West Liquor and Village, Wine & Spirits stores, 4 Liquorland's, 8 hospitality venues and The Quality Hotel Lincoln Green.  We are all about keeping things local in our community and giving back to West Auckland.

 The Venue: 

 Workshop is a cool, relaxed neighbourhood pub with a high-quality back bar and tap offering and casual eats to keep locals and citywide guests coming back for more. 

The Role: 

 Playing your part on the Workshop team is rewarding and fun. We work hard, we care about what we do, and we all make sure we do it to the high standards that our guests love us for. We learn new skills every day, we help each other achieve individual and team targets and we celebrate success. 

Responsibilities include:

• Supervise others including delegating workloads, motivating staff and resolving disputes and/or issues 
• Full bar service, with Gaming and onsite TAB 
• Uphold and manage the venue’s responsibilities relevant to the Sale of Alcohol Act and Gambling Laws
• Assume responsibility for the day to day functionality of the venue in the temporary absence of the Hospitality Venue Manager
• Assist with the service of food and beverage items to customers and deliver an experience they won't forget

About You: 

• Friendly and able to confidently interact with people; has a genuine interest in providing great service.
• Experienced working in a very busy, local bar 
• Has some gaming knowledge
• Reliable and great personal presentation 
• You will have your Liquor Controller Qualification (LCQ) and a valid General Manager’s Certificate

You must hold a current Liquor Control Qualification and General Manager's licence and be physically fit as some heavy lifting is involved.
