Cook/Chef at Pig & Whistle

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an individual who can fit into our successful and driven team and step up to take on the challenge of a fast paced kitchen.

The Pig & Whistle is a busy inner city bar & restaurant and has been serving successfully for 30 years.   

The applicant must: 

- be able to work under pressure, as part of a team and individually.

-be able to work rostered shifts which are likely to include evenings, weekends and holidays. 

- be driven and not afraid of hard work.

 - at minimum, have basic experience with food preparation and food safety knowledge.   

- be able to communicate effectively with others during high pressured times, 

-be fit and able to work on their feet for long shifts.

We are looking for someone who can maintain high standards, whilst working fast and fit in well with the team.
