JOB DESCRIPTION

Commis Chef – Pastry (Part time)

In this role you will be a key driver in bringing to life our all-new French boulangerie, Chou Chou. You will work as part of a small team to produce pastries and gateaux for Chou Chou and other hotel areas.

Commis Chef – Bistro Jacque (Part time)

Bistro Jacque is a welcoming gastro pub located above Central Station in the hotel’s lower lobby. In this role you will prepare casual lunches and dinners, bar snacks and other a la carte offerings.

Work hours are Monday to Friday only between 10AM to 9PM.

Commis Chef – Breakfast (Part time)

In this role you will produce breakfast menu items for our signature buffet and a la carte dining in Suzette Restaurant.

This involves early starts with shift times from 4AM to 12PM.

REQUIREMENTS

We are currently seeking Part Time Commis Chefs to join our culinary brigade in breakfast buffet, a la carte, bistro and patisserie. The successful applicants will have relevant trade qualifications, thrive working in a fast-paced environment, be creative, have a positive upbeat attitude and be passionate about food and luxury guest service.
