Job Description:

As a Commis Chef at Nuuna, you will play a crucial role in assisting our culinary team in the preparation and execution of high-quality dishes that reflect our commitment to excellence in Fusion Asian cuisine. You will work under the guidance of experienced chefs, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
  • Execute cooking techniques according to established recipes and standards.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
  • Uphold hygiene and safety standards to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
  • Contribute to the development of new dishes and menu items under the guidance of the Head Chef.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and cohesive kitchen environment.

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Previous experience as a Commis Chef or relevant culinary position is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is a must.
  • Knowledge of Asian cuisine and culinary techniques is essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and responsibilities.
  • Culinary school or relevant certifications is a plus.
