Join our exciting venture as we establish Ayrburn, a multi-venue hospitality destination located in the heart of the growing Arrowtown and Lake Hayes basin. Heritage farm buildings have been reimagined into restaurants, bars, providores, and activities.  Works are well underway on this food and events paradise, with phase one opening in December, ‘23, with phase two opening in December, ’24.

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our kitchen brigade. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation. Your creativity and culinary expertise will contribute to our menu's success and help us uphold our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards.
• Ensure food is prepared correctly and efficiently to maintain consistent quality.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new dishes and seasonal menus.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.
• Manage kitchen inventory and control costs.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure adherence to recipes and procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional dishes.
