REQUIREMENTS

About the role:
Permanent full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week and a maximum of 45 hours per week.

As a CDP you are responsible for supporting the Head & Sous Chef in a busy kitchen delivery consistently high-quality food.
Some of your responsibilities are but not limited to:
 

  • Taking care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by your seniors to meet the standard and the quality set by the Group
  • Coordinates daily tasks with the Sous Chef
  • Responsible for supervision of junior chefs and commis
  • Ability to estimate the daily production needs and check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure all standards are met.
  • Ensure that the production, preparation, and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
  • Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production, and presentation standards 
  • Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of any malfunctions.
  • Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment
  • Ability to produce own work in accordance with a deadline and to assist and encourage others in achieving this aim
  • Carry out any other duties required by your seniors
     

About you:

  • Minimum two-year experience in a high-volume venue
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Must work well in a team
  • Organised
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Friendly, energetic, and hard-working attitude
  • Willing to learn
