JOB DESCRIPTION

Manaaki Mgmt Ltd, owner operators of Karaka Cafe, Wellington Functions and KiaoraKAI, all in all we are a very busy food & beverage operation on Wellington's waterfront.

This is a fulltime position to join our team on a permanent basis. If you enjoy a team environment where everyone just digs in and gets the job done, then this is for you. We keep it professional whilst creating a fun and vibrant workplace.

We have a 2 plus weeks annual closure period over Christmas and New Years.

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this position, you will…

Minimum of 2 year’s experience in a busy kitchen.
A high standard of cleanliness and workmanship.
Honest and reliable.
Display a high standard of health and hygiene practices in your day-to-day work.
Available to work afternoon/evening shifts, including weekends.
All of the, above whilst completing hands-on day to day chef duties.

This is a permanent position, so expectations for length of service are a minimum of 18-24 months commitment to this role.
