JOB DESCRIPTION

Jam organic cafe is located inthe heart of Takapuna. Jam organic offers plenty of outdoor dining and fresh daily produce

We are looking for reliable and motivated Chef de Partie to join our team 

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work morning and weekend shifts (5 days between 35** weekly)
  • Strong team player and leadership skills
  • Relevant qualification in cookery and baking skills 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail in a high pressure cafe kitchen environment
  • must have a sense of ownership
  • Must be confident around the kitchen.
  • knowledge of health and safety  and  food safety  

As a Chef de Partie you will be responsible for the preparation, presentation and display of all menu items in the designated area of the Kitchen and for the maintenance of equipment and work area.
