JOB DESCRIPTION

Award winning Botswana Butchery Queenstown is looking for their next highly motivated superstar pastry chef to join the close team in time for summer.
 
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the ever-growing Good Group Hospitality! We encourage our staff to reach their full potential in a friendly & caring environment.
 
Ideally, you’ll have proven experience in high volume restaurants, have a strong understanding of kitchen practices, culinary techniques and have a passion for staying up to date with global trends.

REQUIREMENTS

Who we are looking for:

  • Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and timely service.
  • Assisting with the management of health and safety and food hygiene practices
  • Ability to work without close supervision
  • Excellent oral communication
  • Team management skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge plus those around you
  • Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes
