The Cumberland, Australias small cocktail bar of the year 2021 is looking for passionate cocktail bartenders looking to join the team in Manly. 

This Whiskey focused bar is like no other. Located in a nondescript alley set back from the Corso, the real trick is what lies beneath. Pull at the 1920s fridge door in the corner, slide down the spiral staircase and step into the Cumberland: Manly’s very own underground speakeasy, complete with flickering candlesticks, fluted glass, scalloped banquettes and brass, copper and bentwood for days.  

With busy cocktail bar service five nights a week we are looking for a Bar superstar supvisor to step up and take charge of day to day Bar service, Batching, prep and drive beverage sales. 

We also have a number of Casual Bartender roles. We will train the right candidates to be a part of our team with ongoing training.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience as a Cocktail Bartender in a high volume, fast-paced environment
• Must have in depth cocktail and spirit knowledge
• Extensive wine knowledge advantageous
• Drive for beverage service
• Passion for delivering outstanding service
• Proactive, strong work ethic with a "can do" attitude
• Outgoing personality
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent presentation and grooming
• Must be able and willing to work weekends, public holidays and late nights
• Must have RSA certificate
