JOB DESCRIPTION

Located in the historic Archer's Cottage with spectacular lake views and signature roaring log fires inside and out, Botswana Butchery is one of Queenstown's most stylish and busiest restaurants having recently been awarded a Cuisine Good Food Award Chefs Hat.
 
This is the perfect opportunity for those looking to take their bartending skills up a notch, or for experienced bartenders to work with the best Whisky selection in Queenstown. Our bespoke cocktail menu and extensive Whisky and Wine lists means there’s always opportunities to learn and get creative. If you're passionate about serving delicious drinks and giving great service, then this is the job for you! 
 
It is vital you have previous hospitality experience, and if you have worked in venues of a similar size and style - this is a huge advantage, however training is provided.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will have these key requirements:

**must have valid visa and currently be residing in NZ**

  • Experience in a busy restaurant/bar is essential and your pay rate will mirror your experience
  • Customer focused and motivated
  • Be well presented, enthusiastic and professional
  • Deliver a high standard of drink making and wine handling
  • Great energy and ability to engage with your customers
  • Must be able to work late nights and weekends
  • The ability to work calmly when under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • ‘Can-Do’ attitude, ready to face a busy service head on
  • Be ready to be part of a high quality, high volume, and fast paced operation
  • Full working rights in NZ is essential
