Third Wheel Coffee Co. is a small, cozy café tucked away in Paihia, known for our specialty coffee, home-baked treats, and strong connection with our regulars. We're gearing up for a busy summer and are looking for experienced, passionate baristas to join our team!

If you love great coffee, friendly faces, and the idea of working in one of the most beautiful spots in Aotearoa – this could be your next adventure.

🔧 The Role

You’ll be doing more than just making great coffee – you’ll be part of the heart of our café.

Your day-to-day might include:

• Crafting delicious coffee with care (and latte art flair!)
• Serving customers with a warm smile and genuine vibe
• Keeping the café clean, stocked, and running smoothly
• Helping out with daily close-down duties
• Chatting with both locals and international visitors

🎓 What We're Looking For

We’re after someone who’s not just technically skilled, but also fits the easygoing, community-driven culture of our place.

You’ll ideally have:

• 1+ years of experience as a barista
• Confidence with espresso machines and latte art
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• Flexibility to work a mix of weekday/weekend shifts
• A good sense of humour and strong team spirit
• A valid NZ work visa
