A bit about us...

kingi is an Auckland restaurant open day and night, housed on the ground floor of the heritage Masonic House, within The Hotel Britomart. Our focus is on making great food with a lean towards sustainable seafood that feels distinctly ‘of its place’, here in New Zealand. We believe in vegetables just out of the garden, fruit right off the branch, and kaimoana straight from the sea. In our cooking we strive for delicious flavour and harmony with the environment.

The role

kingi is seeking a highly motivated hospo star to be our Barista (part time), helping a seasoned restaurant team to deliver top quality tasting coffee and service experience for customers. In this role, you are an expert in producing consistently high quality coffees and beverages. You will be experienced in working with speed and efficiency, and responsible for developing our beverage programme alongside the Restaurant Manager.
