An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Venue Manager (Permanent Full Time) with a passion for both the Speight's brand and its history to join the team at the spiritual home of Speight's in Dunedin.

The Speight's Brewery is the spiritual home of New Zealand's biggest beer brand, attracting over 10,000 visitors per year to experience the "Pride of the South"; and is one of Dunedin's most popular tourist attractions.

As Assistant Venue Manager to will play a pivotal role in ensuring the team exceed the expectations of visitors to this iconic site.

Core Duties:

· Managing a team of up to 10 Tour Guides

· Cash-handling and banking

· Rostering and payroll

· Stock ordering and inventory control (including the e-commerce site)

Our ideal candidate will have:

· Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role (Tourism or Hospitality)

· Hospitality / Event Coordinator experience (min 2 years)

· General Manager's Licence

· Retail/merchandising experience

· Flexibility in hours of work
