Qualifications & experience

• Minimum of 1 years experience managing a busy, high-end restaurant.
• Ability to provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Manager's Certificate
• Experience and ability to lead and motivate a team.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Continuing to establish Cheek n Chong as a key destination for the local and wider communities by building a rapport with customers, suppliers and staff. 
• Overseeing the restaurant’s overall performance and ensuring the highest standard of service is carried out by all staff members.
• Running the day to day operations of the restaurant with a focus on recruiting, training and supervising staff. 
• Assisting host/hostess with reservations to efficiently use restaurant seating and maximize customer numbers.
• Handling customer enquires including feedback and complaints.
• Tracking customer behavior and sales.
• Updating pricing on POS system as menus change.
• Promoting and marketing the business on social media.
• Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation.
• FOH staff rostering ensuring this is accurately recorded for payroll.
• Stock management including ordering, stocktaking, and stock control.
